Born and raised in the East Bay, Jen Moeller knows this market from the inside. She understands how much can change from one community to the next, one neighborhood to another and sometimes from one street to the next. She knows what buyers respond to, how homes are really trading and stays closely connected to the agents, activity and homes that may be coming to market. That local knowledge has helped Jen build a track record of more than $45 million in sales and earn recognition from RealTrends among the top 1.5% of real estate professionals.
And when you hire Jen, you get Jen. She has intentionally chosen to run her business this way because she believes her clients are better served when the person they trust is also the person doing the work. From the first conversation through closing and beyond, Jen knows your priorities, the property, the history and the conversations that have led to each decision. You never have to wonder who to call or explain something twice. Jen is the one developing the strategy, managing the details, communicating with the other parties and negotiating on your behalf. She sees the full picture, anticipates what is coming and stays ahead of what needs to happen next. That continuity builds trust and helps make an often complicated process feel calmer, clearer and far less stressful.
Community is a big part of who Jen is. She believes strong communities are built by people who show up, give back and genuinely connect with one another. Jen is raising her three children in the East Bay and has spent years volunteering in their schools and supporting local organizations. She is a Gold Member of the Orinda Network for Education, serves on the Sutter Health Alta Bates Philanthropy Board in Oakland and the Membership Committee at Orinda Country Club, and is a former board member of the Lamorinda Children’s Health Guild. The relationships Jen builds with clients and fellow agents come from that same place. For her, trust is earned over time, and the relationship rarely ends when a transaction does.
Another important part of Jen’s story began in Nashville, where she spent several years pursuing songwriting while working at the legendary Bluebird Cafe and in some of the city’s top recording studios. Songs she wrote went on to earn both gold and platinum records. At the studios, Jen worked directly with artists and high profile clients, where anticipating needs, providing a high level of personal service and understanding the importance of discretion were part of the job. Nashville also required persistence, creativity and plenty of grit, qualities Jen still brings to everything she takes on.
Jen also spent years working as a nurse, an experience that strengthened something that has always come naturally to her: listening closely, understanding what people need and advocating for them when it matters. It also taught her to stay calm when the stakes are high and to communicate clearly when things feel uncertain. Those instincts are very much a part of how Jen represents her clients today. She is warm and approachable, but also prepared, direct and a strong negotiator when it matters. She wants her clients to understand their options, feel confident in their decisions and always know they have someone looking out for their interests.
For Jen, the best result is not simply a closed transaction. It is a client who feels heard, exceptionally well represented and genuinely happy with what they achieved.
I love what I do because it brings together what matters most to me: people, homes and community. There is nothing better than seeing someone I’ve worked with happy with where they landed and excited about what comes next.
